Websites for landscapers
A website that shows your finished jobs, explains the groundworks that make them last and tells people who they’re dealing with. From £39 a month, ordered online.
An example site we built for a landscaper in Wrexham, and what each part is for
- The trade and phone number along the top of every page.
- What they build and where, in the words people search with: patios, driveways, Wrexham.
- “Family run” and “15 years” up front. A garden is a big spend and people want to know who they’re dealing with.
- The job from first visit to finished garden, with a fixed quote at step two.
- Groundworks get their own step. It’s the part nobody sees and the reason a patio lasts.
- A real review from Facebook, word for word, with the name as it appears there.
- Their Facebook rating, so people can check it for themselves.
- Recent work with a plain caption for each job. For a landscaper, the photos do most of the selling.
What a landscaper’s website needs
A garden is a big spend. Before someone asks for a quote they want to see work like theirs, know the groundworks will be done properly and know who they’re dealing with.
Photos of finished jobs, by type
Patios, driveways, lawns, fencing and decking, each with a plain caption. People look for a job like the one they want.
A section for each service
Patios, driveways, fencing and turfing each written out properly, so Google knows what you do.
The bit nobody sees
Explain the groundworks: digging out, levels, drainage and the base. It’s why your patio lasts and someone else’s sinks.
Who you are
Family run, how long you’ve been going and who turns up. On a big job that matters as much as the price.
How your quotes work
Say that you come out, look at the space and give a fixed price. People worry about costs creeping up.
Memberships, if you have them
If you’re a BALI member or TrustMark registered, we show it with your details.
The towns you cover
A list of towns on every plan. On Standard you also get a page for each of up to 3 towns and on Growth up to 6, which helps you show up in each one.
Memberships and badges worth showing
A new garden can cost as much as a car, so people check who they're dealing with. These are the badges that tell them someone outside your business has looked at your work.
BALI (British Association of Landscape Industries)
A trade association and accreditation body for landscaping, with accredited members who work to its code of conduct.
BALI has a public directory for finding landscape contractors and designers. We show the logo and link to your listing.
APL (Association of Professional Landscapers)
A membership body for landscapers. Businesses need two years' trading to join, then pass an inspection of their paperwork, health and safety and finished work, with regular checks after that.
The APL has a public member directory you can search by area. We show the badge and link to your entry.
TrustMark
The government endorsed quality scheme for work around the home. The APL runs TrustMark for landscaping, so the two often go together.
TrustMark has a public Find a Tradesperson search. We show the badge with your details and link to it.
Public liability insurance
Not a register, but people ask. You're digging next to their house, their drains and their neighbour's fence.
We say plainly that you're insured, with the cover amount if you want it shown.
How people shop for a landscaper
Garden plans start on the first warm weekends of spring. People search for the thing they want: a porcelain patio, a resin driveway, an artificial lawn, sleeper beds, a new fence. Then they look at photos for a while before they ask anyone to come out. Your site does a lot of quiet work weeks before the phone rings.
Winter is different. Storm-damaged fences, drainage problems and driveways don't wait for spring, so if you do them they belong on the site too.
Photos that show the whole job
The finished patio is the main shot, but the photos that win trust are the ones in between: the dig out, the sub-base going down, the levels being set. They prove the part nobody sees later.
Shoot the finished job from where the customer would stand, usually the back door, in soft early evening light. Tell us the materials and roughly how big it is and we put that in the caption.
Enquiries for a big job
Nobody books a new garden from one phone call. The enquiry form asks what they want, roughly how big the space is, their postcode and a rough budget if they're happy to share it. You can see whether it's a job for you before you drive out to price it.
If you work in Welsh-speaking areas, a line saying you speak Welsh helps. A full Welsh version of the site is £150 from your Welsh text.
How the costs compare
A landscaper's website costs from about £110 a year if you build it yourself, around £900 to £3,300 in the first year from a freelancer, or £69 to £99 a month on our Standard or Growth plans. Landscapers usually need more pages than most trades because each service gets searched for on its own.
What it costs
Same price for every landscaper, nothing added on later. Pick a plan to see what's in it.
Rather pay once? £695 for the website (£995 for bigger sites), then £20 a month for hosting, your domain and support.
Plus £199 setup. 12 months minimum, then cancel any time with 30 days' notice.

Questions landscapers ask
Most of my photos are on Instagram. Can you use them?
Yes. Send us the link and we’ll pick the best ones and caption them. You can also upload photos straight from your phone in the order form.
I do lots of different jobs. Can the site cover them all?
Yes. Starter and Standard sites have up to 5 pages and Growth up to 10, plus a list of everything else you do.
Can I add new jobs to the gallery?
Yes. Send us the photos. On Standard and Growth that comes out of your monthly changes. On Starter, a quick update like this counts as your one small change for the month. Anything bigger is £45 an hour.
Do you only build sites for landscapers?
No. We build them for tradespeople and local businesses of all kinds. This page is about what a landscaper needs.
Can I show a guide price for patios or driveways?
Yes. A rough price per square metre filters out enquiries that won't go ahead. If you'd rather quote every job, we say that instead.
I want more of one kind of job. Can the site push that?
Yes. Tell us which jobs you want more of and we put them first, with the most photos and the most words. You can shift the focus later using your monthly changes.
What happens after the first year?
The plan rolls on monthly and you can cancel any time with 30 days' notice. If you leave, you take your website with you. Your domain is already in your name.
Ready when you are. It takes about ten minutes to order.
