Websites for plumbers and heating engineers
A website that shows your Gas Safe number, puts your phone number on every screen and explains your boiler work in plain English. From £39 a month, ordered online.
An example site we built for a heating engineer in Wrexham, and what each part is for
- The phone number at the top of every page. When the heating’s off, that’s all people want.
- Gas and oil boilers plus the town, in the headline.
- Gas Safe registered, in the opening line.
- New boilers, oil boilers and servicing, each with a photo and a plain line.
- Small details people worry about, like the old boiler being taken away.
- Oil gets its own section. Homes off the gas grid look for it specifically.
- Each job written out properly, so Google knows exactly what he does.
- Gas Safe at the top of the about page. With his number added, customers can check it on the register.
What a plumber’s or heating engineer’s website needs
When the boiler breaks, people want someone registered who can come soon. When they’re planning a new one, they want to know who they’re letting in. A good site answers both.
Your Gas Safe number, where they can check it
The Gas Safe Register is the legal register for gas engineers. We show your registration number and link to the register’s own check, so customers can confirm it for themselves.
A number they can tap
When the heating’s off, nobody wants to fill in a form. Your number at the top of every page and a Call button that stays on screen.
Gas and oil, said plainly
If you work on oil boilers too, say so. Homes off the gas grid look for oil boiler engineers specifically.
Servicing, so they come back
A section on yearly servicing. It’s steady work. Most boiler warranties need it too.
What a new boiler involves
How a replacement works, from the first visit to the old boiler going. It answers the questions before they ring.
The towns you cover
A list of towns on every plan. On Standard you also get a page for each of up to 3 towns and on Growth up to 6, which helps you show up in each one.
Reviews, when you have them
Real reviews from Google or Facebook. If you’re just starting out we leave them off until you have some. We never make reviews up.
Registrations and memberships worth showing
Gas is the one area where registration is the law. Beyond that, the right badges tell customers you're vetted for water, oil and renewables too.
Gas Safe Register
By law, anyone doing gas work in Great Britain has to be on it. Each engineer carries an ID card showing the kinds of gas work they're qualified for, like boilers, cookers or fires.
Customers can check you on the Gas Safe Register website or by phone. As well as your number, we list the appliance types on your card so people can see you do the job they need.
OFTEC
The registration scheme for oil heating technicians, which also covers solid fuel and renewables. Homes off the gas grid look for it when an oil boiler needs servicing or replacing.
OFTEC has a public Find a Technician search. We show your OFTEC number on your oil boiler section and link to it.
WaterSafe
A national register of approved plumbers, backed by APHC, CIPHE, SNIPEF and WIAPS. It covers England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
WaterSafe has a public search by postcode. We show the logo and link to it.
APHC (Association of Plumbing and Heating Contractors)
A not-for-profit membership body for qualified plumbing and heating businesses in England and Wales. Members' competency is checked before they're accepted.
APHC has a public Find a Member search by town and type of work. We show the logo and link to it.
MCS
The quality mark for heat pumps, solar thermal and other small-scale renewables. If you fit heat pumps, customers expect to see it.
MCS has a public Find an Installer search. We show the logo on your heat pump section.
Breakdowns, planned work and the seasons
Plumbing and heating searches follow the weather. The first cold snap brings “boiler not working” and “no hot water” searches. Spring and summer are when people plan new boilers, bathrooms and heat pumps, because they can manage without heating for a day or two.
So the site leads with your number for breakdowns but gives planned work its own sections. A servicing section with a line like “book your service before winter” helps fill the quieter months.
What to send us
Photos of tidy installs sell heating work: a boiler with neat pipework underneath, a labelled cylinder cupboard, a finished bathroom. Phone photos are fine if they're sharp and well lit.
Tell us the boiler makes you fit and the guarantees you can offer on them. People search for boiler brands by name, so naming them helps Google match you.
Off-grid customers and Welsh speakers
Many rural homes in North Wales aren't on mains gas, so oil, LPG and heat pump work gets searched for in its own right. If you cover those villages, list them by name on the site.
If you speak Welsh, put it next to your phone number. A Welsh version of the site is £150 from your Welsh text.
How the costs compare
A website for a plumber or heating engineer costs from about £110 a year if you build it yourself, around £900 to £3,300 in the first year from a freelancer, or £39 to £99 a month from a pay-monthly firm like us. For most plumbers, five pages and a page for each main town is plenty.

Questions plumbers ask
Can you put my Gas Safe number on it?
Yes. We show your registration number and link to the Gas Safe Register so customers can check it.
I’m out on jobs all day. How do enquiries reach me?
The site is built around calling and WhatsApp, so enquiries come straight to your phone.
Can I add new jobs to the gallery?
Yes. Send us the photos. On Standard and Growth that comes out of your monthly changes. On Starter, a quick update like this counts as your one small change for the month. Anything bigger is £45 an hour.
Do you only build sites for plumbers?
No. We build them for tradespeople and local businesses of all kinds. This page is about what a plumber or heating engineer needs.
Can I show a price for a boiler service?
Yes. A fixed price for a standard service is one of the most useful things a heating engineer's site can show. When it changes, send us the new price.
I do emergency call-outs. Can the site say when I'm available?
Yes. We put your hours and call-out terms on the site in plain words. If they change, it's a quick update.
What if I want to leave after a year?
After your first 12 months you can cancel with 30 days' notice and take your website with you. Your domain is already in your name. There's no exit fee.
Ready when you are. It takes about ten minutes to order.
